Gullfoss waterfall

Kerid : volcanic crater - yes, the volcanic ash really is that red!

In and around Hveragerdi village. Plumes of steam rising from the ground.

Urridafoss falls. Flow between 350 and 1500 cubic metres per second.

Hidden waterfall: driving torrential rain outside, and full of spray inside!

Looking towards Seljandsfoss waterfall.

Seljalandsfoss waterfall. Walking behind the waterfall provided good shelter from the rain.

Skogafoss waterfall (carrying huge amounts of silt - hence the colour).
