Russan - Sainte Anastasie

Yet another walk along a section of the Gardon River, a little to the north of Nîmes. This walk starts in the village of Russan (about 10 km upstream from the walk at La Baume a few weeks ago).

In the bottom right of the image - the river is still flowing, but this is one of the many sections of the Gardon where much of the water takes a subterranean route. In times of high flow, the entire river appears ‘normal’ !
